Qatar is going to carry out a "full assessment" of its position as a mediator in delicate talks. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the prime minister of Qatar, voiced concerns on Wednesday on the current status of international mediation efforts that his country is leading to assist in reaching a settlement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza regarding the release of captives and a truce.
