According to Russian officials, a number of shooters dressed in camouflage opened fire at a well-liked concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow on Friday night, killing over 60 people and injuring over 100 more. This was the bloodiest attack to occur in the capital region in over ten years.

The Russian national guard stated that its officers were still searching for the attackers hours after the chaos started. According to state media outlets, there could have been as many as five offenders.
